Every month, we highlight someone who makes The SEED the do-it-together food movement that it is. This month we meet Ken, a regular volunteer in the Upcycle Kitchen.
Ken brings many things to his role including positivity, flexibility, humour, patience and lots of enthusiasm. He comes in every week, ready to take on whatever it is he can help out with. He has become exceptionally skilled with knifework and processing large quantities of vegetables, which is always very appreciated. He brings his love for gardening and fixing things into the kitchen, and always makes sure our knives our sharp and our compost is taken care of. Ken loves to share stories, have conversations and laugh together. The kitchen team wouldn’t be the same without him. Thanks, Ken!
