Souper Heroes Update

It’s soup season! You can now find our famous soup starters at markets, stores and pop-up events. All proceeds directly support our programs- help us get to $30,000 in sales this year!

A Souper track record

Now in its seventh year, The SEED’s Souper Heroes fundraiser is a volunteer-led initiative. Volunteers package, cook, and sell our delicious signature soups. The recipes are delicious and easy to make, and you can feel so good about where the proceeds go… every bit supports our programs.

The Heroes have raised well over $100,000 for The SEED over the years. This year, we want to add another $30,000 in sales!

2022 craft shows and markets

For the past two years, it has been difficult to sell soup at in-person events. This year, we’re back at craft markets and shows! Woohoo!

In October, we attended three soup sales events- The Ward Night Market, The Rockwood Handmade Market, and the SEED concert fundraiser at Nassagaweya Church. These events have been such a fun way to connect with our community and get back into the mode.

In November, we have four more markets! Please come say hi and buy some soup, or consider volunteering to sell with us!

Packaging soup

In October, we hosted two soup packing events where amazing volunteers packaged 500 of our large soup pouches at our Community Food Warehouse! Wow! Individuals and groups are invited to come and participate in these fun work/ crafting parties. We will continue to host packing days every Monday in November from 2-5pm. Where to purchase soup

Please consider purchasing our soup this winter! The pouches make great host or teacher gifts and stocking stuffers (or are great in your own cupboard- yum)!
