The SEED has grown from a practical idea into a region-wide movement transforming how we feed and care for one another. We are excited to share the details with you here!

Over 23% of households in Guelph-Wellington cannot afford the food they need. The SEED is not just feeding people—we’re rebuilding the food system to be more equitable, sustainable, and community-led.
Be part of a movement that’s grown from a few partners into a 45+ organization network distributing millions in purchased and surplus food, nourishing schools, and empowering neighbours.
