Harvest Program at Shelldale Farm Park
This program aims to teach preserving, and specifically work with community groups interested in preserving traditional foods. So far, we have made Beet Chutney and Pickled Okra. Funded by the City of Guelph.
FoodFit is a program developed and funded by Community Food Centres Canada that the SEED offered from 2018-20. Participants followed a facilitated weekly program to increase health through 30 minutes of do-able exercise, easy to understand nutrition lessons, and a fun, hands-on cooking lesson. Participants ended each session by sharing their delicious meal.
