Every month we celebrate someone who helps make The SEED what it is.
Kim joined The SEED team in September as a part time placement student, but is leaving behind a full time impact! During her two semesters with Groceries from The SEED, Kim has managed to do it all- from checking in and assisting our customers on the phone lines to helping pack and deliver our orders to the community.
Kim has provided nothing but compassion and kindness to all she interacts with, and has inspired us time and again with her enthusiasm and dedication! Her social work schooling and leadership skills have come in handy as she has taught all of us more about how we can show up for each other, and for those we serve.

Quick Interview with Kim…
Name: Kim Muniram
Hometown: Cambridge, ON
Role at The SEED: Customer Service Assistant (student placement)
Favourite food: “EVERYTHING! I love food, but burgers are definitely up there on the list!”
Favourite part of role: “My favourite part of my role at The SEED is what I get to do interacting with our customers and making a difference in individual’s lives every day.”
Why The SEED matters: “The SEED helps to break down barriers individuals and/or families may be facing and provides an outlet for help. Access to safe, nutritious and sufficient food is a basic need and should be treated as a human right, with priority given to the most vulnerable and that is what The SEED is doing!”
We’ve been so fortunate to be a part of Kim’s journey, and can’t wait to see what comes next for her! Thanks, Kim!
